Four Visions, One Artist:
Art for me is multi-faceted… when I sit in front of a canvas, I’m a realist who paints social commentary, the American middle class in middle class situations. When I draw, I draw nature in a loose and stylized way, emulating it’s rhythms. When I photograph, I photograph birds and California native plants in a close up and personal way, allowing them to show their personalities. And finally when I sit in front of a computer, I create stories and environmental commentary using 2D and 3D technologies.
When painting in oils, Ken does mostly social commentary; painting the American middle class in middle class situations. Most of the art in this gallery is available for purchase. For inquiries, please contact the artist directly.
Ken works in many traditional media formats; pastels, ink, pencil and watercolors, mostly focusing on the flora and fauna of the National Park system. Most of the art in this gallery is available for purchase. For inquiries, please contact the artist directly.
